Exactly what happens to your request

Radical clarity is one of our commitments. Here is the whole journey, nothing hidden.

1

You write your request

You share who needs prayer and what for — as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. Only your first name and state are ever shown (or nothing at all, if you choose anonymous). Full names, contact details, and anything identifying stay out by design.

2

A screening protects everyone

Every request is screened before it goes anywhere — for privacy slips, for scams, and for people in crisis. If our screening believes you may be in danger, a human reviews your request personally, and we show you real help immediately (see our crisis page) — never a cold rejection.

3

The chain receives it

Your request is shared with members of the chain — real people who chose to pray for others — inside their daily prayer email. Nobody is spammed: members receive at most a handful of requests a day, and can pause or leave with one tap, any time.

4

What "confirmed" means

When a member prays for you, they spend time with your request — the confirm button doesn’t even activate for twenty seconds — and then they confirm: “I prayed for David.” That confirmation is what you see as a candle lighting on your request page. We only ever count confirmations. We never estimate, never round up, never invent.

5

What we guarantee

When you ask for a circle of a certain size, we keep sharing your request with members until every prayer you asked for has been confirmed — usually within a few days. We can promise this because we control the sharing: if confirmations run short, we simply share your request with more members, at no cost to you.

6

Your circle, and afterward

You watch candles light in real time, read the notes members leave you, and — when you’re ready — share how it went. Answered-prayer updates go back to everyone who prayed for you. That loop, request to answer, is the whole point of a chain.

What we never do

No fake numbers or seeded counters. No urgency tricks, countdowns, or guilt. No selling your information, ever. No ads on prayer pages. No commercial email on Sundays. The full list is on our commitments page.
