What Gathered is

Gathered is a moderated prayer community operated by a for-profit company. Members share posts, replies, and prayer requests and pray for one another voluntarily. Gathered does not sell prayers or spiritual outcomes, and we make no promises about how God answers prayer.

What we promise about delivery

When Gathered shows a prayer-confirmation count, it represents actual member records and is not estimated or filled by bots. We invite a small number of members to pray for each request, but cannot promise timing, participation, or any spiritual or practical outcome.

Cost and optional support

Community participation, prayer requests, and praying for others are free. Optional one-time or monthly support helps pay for moderation, email, and infrastructure but buys no priority, reach, status, or spiritual advantage. Monthly support can be canceled from Settings.

Refunds

If an optional contribution was made by mistake, contact us promptly and we will review it.

Acceptable use

Posts, comments, prayer requests, and notes must be sincere and safe: no fundraising or solicitation, contact-detail exchange, harassment, hate, commercial content, impersonation, spiritual coercion, private-meeting requests, or claims to diagnose or cure another member. We screen content and may hold, decline, or remove content and accounts that break these rules. Members can report content for human review.

Not a crisis or medical service

Gathered does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency services. If you are in crisis, use the resources on our Help Now page (988; text HOME to 741741; 911).

Your content

Your posts, comments, requests, and notes remain yours. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service: screening, storing, delivering, and displaying them to signed-in members as described. Public answered-prayer pages require separate sharing consent. You can remove your own community posts and replies or request account deletion.

Governing law and disputes

Gathered is offered to users in the United States. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Talk to us first: nearly everything can be made right at hello@gatheredprayer.com before anything formal.

Text messaging

SMS is optional and consent-based: messages only about your own prayers and chain activity, sent only after you explicitly opt in. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; message and data rates may apply. Consent is never a condition of using Gathered.

Accounts

18+. One account per person. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we will email you before the change takes effect.
